Margaret J. "Peggy" Yeakel

Margaret J. "Peggy" Yeakel , 86, of Nazareth, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Alexandria Manor in Nazareth. Born August 24, 1938, in Nazareth, she was the daughter of the late Carlisle A. and Josephine H. (Kreider) Anglemire and wife of the late Elwood D. Yeakel.

Peggy was a member of the Nazareth Moravian Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, Diener, and member of the Bright Star Circle of Kings Daughters. She was a 1956 graduate of the Nazareth Area High School and worked in dining services at Moravian Hall Square for twenty years.

She is survived by her son, Mark E. Yeakel of Nazareth, daughter, Catherine Y. wife of Kevin L. Mingora of Saylorsburg, step-son, James D. Yeakel of South Carolina, sister, Alice Yeakel of Nazareth, six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by daughter, Margaret A. Schoeneberger.

Services: The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service, all on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, Nazareth.
