Margaret M. Semler

Margaret M. (Laky) Semler, 82, of Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pennsylvania, died Saturday afternoon, October 21, 2017, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem.  She was the wife of the late Edward C. Semler, who passed in 2007.  Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Stephen, Sr. and Mary (Stubits) Laky.

Margaret was employed by ARAmark Food Services, Northampton High School Cafeteria, for over 20 years.  She was also employed as a cook for the Northampton Liederkranz for many years.  Margaret was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.  She attended the Young at Heart Group, formerly St. Andrew's Parish, North Catasauqua.  Margaret enjoyed sports, especially Notre Dame Football.  She also enjoyed traveling and casino trips.

Survivors: Daughters, Donna M. wife of James Lokay, and MaryAnn C. wife of Michael Beichey, all of Northampton.  Granddaughters, Allison, and Meghan.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sons, Edward, Jr., David, a sister, Mary, and brothers, Steve, Frank, Robert, Alfred, and John.
