Margie D. Schlier

Margie D. Schlier, 78, of Franklin Street, Weissport, Pennsylvania, died early Sunday morning, August 28, 2016, in her home. She was the wife of the late Daniel M. Schlier who passed in 1993. Born in Franklin Township, she was a daughter of the late Asa and Mabel (Kershner) Smith.
Margie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was employed as a seamstress for many years, and for various regional garment mills.
Survivors: Sons, Eric M. with whom she resided, Timothy R. of South Carolina. 3 grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.
Services: 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, Pennsylvania 18235. Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, in the funeral home. Private Interment at Packerton Cemetery, Beaver Street, Mahoning Township.
