Marian F. Bortz

Marian F. (Dotter) Bortz, 80, of 2nd Street, Lehighton, Pennsylvania, died Friday morning, February 15, 2019, at St. Luke's Hospital, Gnaden Huetten Memorial Campus, Lehighton.  She was the wife of Robert C. Bortz since June 7, 1958.  Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Mildred (Snyder) Dotter.

Marian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren, and playing pinochle.

Survivors: Husband, Robert. Daughters, Beverly J. wife of Robyn Williams, Connie, all of Lehighton, Lana wife of Terry Bailey of Plainfield, IL.  Son, Timothy and wife Cathy Bortz of South Amboy, NJ.  10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.  Sister, Carol Johnson of Kunkletown.  10 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Alverta Hoppel, and Anna Rehrig.

Services: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.  Call, 1:00-2:00 p.m., Tuesday, in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at St. Matthew's Cemetery, Skyline Drive, Franklin Township.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
