Marianne A. Thompson

Marianne A. Thompson , 64, of the Lehighton High Rise, Lehighton, PA, died suddenly Friday evening, January 7, 2022, in her home.  Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late George and Violet (Schafer) Thompson.

Marianne was employed in the custodial services departments of both The Inn at Jim Thorpe, and Split Rock Resort, Poconos.  She also worked retail for Walmart, Lehighton, and as a seamstress for Ruth Manufacturing, Nesquehoning.  Over the years, she was an independent sales rep. for both Tupperware, and Avon.  She was a member of Meed's United Methodist Church, Nesquehoning.

Survivors: Sons, Edward J. and Chastity Miller of Lehighton, David W., Jr. and wife Aurelia Jones of Nesquehoning, and Shawn M. Jones of Summit Hill.  10 grandchildren, Zach, Parker, Calyb, Alana, Camryn, Matthew, Declann, Grayson, Liana, and Connor.  Sister, Sandra wife of Dennis Huseman of Albemarle, NC.  Several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brother, Barry Thompson.

Services: Memorial Gathering, 9:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, Summit Hill Heritage Center, 1 W. Hazard Street, Summit Hill, PA 18250.  Private Interment, St. Matthews Lutheran Cemetery, Skyline Drive, E.
