Marianne E. Utzat

Marianne E. Utzat , 79 of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at her residence in Easton, PA. Born April 22, 1946 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Gotthilf Bader and the late Hilda (Huber) Bader. Marianne
was the wife of Richard D. Utzat, with whom she shared 59 years of loving marriage.

After graduating High School, Marianne went on to the prestigious Katharine Gibbs School in Montclair, NJ.  With a working career of over 50 years, she just retired this past year.  In her free time, Marianne enjoyed being at home with her family. She also enjoyed crocheting and cross-stitching.

Surviving along with her husband are sons, Richard Utzat and wife Barbara of Nazareth, PA and Christopher Utzat and wife Anita of Andover, MA; daughter-in-law Mary Jane Utzat of Toms River, NJ; brother, Gerhard Bader of Warminster, PA; five grandchildren (Kyle and wife Brooke, Brian, Sydney, Ben and Sammy) and two great grandchildren (Greyson and Cooper). She was predeceased by her son, Timothy Utzat, two granddaughters, Katie Utzat and Samantha Utzat, and sister-in-law Esther Bader.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Bartholomew Schisler Funeral Home, Nazareth, PA has been entrusted with her care and arrangements.
