Marie A. Bedics

Marie A. Bedics , 63 of Walnutport, PA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. Born November 1, 1960 in Jacksonville, FL, she was the daughter of the late Marvin A. Roberts and the late Mary C. (Pugh) Roberts. Marie was the loving wife of Matthew A. Bedics, with whom she cherished 38 years of marriage.

She was a graduate of Northampton Area High School, class of 1978. She trusted Christ as her Savior as a young adult and has been a faithful member of Valleyview Baptist Church for 32 years. At church, she could often be found helping serve meals, and was the predominant force in sharing the word of God through sign language during worship. Marie spent her working career as a legal secretary for multiple firms, for 18 years before retiring in 2020. In her spare time, Marie enjoyed doing needle point work and spending time with her eight grandchildren.

Survivors: along with her husband, are sons, Myles A. Bedics and wife Danielle and Matthew A. Bedics and wife Sarah, daughter, Marissa Loveland and husband James, 3 granddaughters and 5 grandsons, sisters, Marva Johnson and husband James, Margie Bell and husband Roland, Martie Telepo and husband Michael, brother Marcus Roberts, along with multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday June 27th, 2024 at Valleyview Baptist Church 2870 Pheasant Drive Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Volker Stoeckmann officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00AM up until the time of service. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery - Northampton, PA.
