Marie A. Bloom

Marie A. Bloom, 77 of Schnecksville, died on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township. Born January 8, 1941 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Strisovsky) Seyer, Sr. She and her husband James D. Bloom were married on July 12, 1958.
She worked as a fitter for Cross Country Clothes, Northampton for 32 years before retiring. Marie was an active member of both the Slatington and Walnutport Senior Clubs.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, James D. Bloom, Jr. and wife Susan of Schnecksville, and Donald J. Bloom and wife Pam of Allentown, daughter, Tina M. Serafin and husband Robert of Slatington, brother, Charles Seyer, Jr. of Eaw Beach, HI; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sister, Carol Ann Christman.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM followed by a 7:30 PM funeral service all on Friday, March 30, 2018, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton.
