Marie Therese Brigid Herman

Marie Therese Brigid Herman , 68, of Slatington, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at her residence in Slatington, PA. Born Tuesday, November 2, 1954 in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Charles Stephenson and the late Marie (Bucci)  Stephenson. She was the wife of the late George Herman.

Marie was a graduate of Bayside High School - New York and went on to work as a secretary for multiple businesses before retiring and becoming a homemaker. Marie enjoyed going to church and was faithful to many churches, often visiting different denominations. She was most grateful to finish her life confirmed in the Catholic faith by Father Sedar. She gave of her time and helped in the PTA and with the Cub Scouts.  She was often out babysitting local children, and also taught ceramic classes to them.

Survivors: Daughter, Dawn Pechette of Goshen, NY.  Son, Adam C. Herman and husband Raymond Dulisse of Slatington, PA.  Grandchildren Alexandra Pechette, Raymond Pechette, and Antonino Brucculeri.  Brothers, Michael Stephenson of UT, and John Stephenson and wife Miyoshi of Babylon, NY. She was predeceased by brother, Patrick Stephenson.

Services: A Mass Service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday August 3rd. at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church located at 1152 Oak Road-Berlinsville Walnutport, PA 18088 with the Rev. Adam Sedar officiating. Interment is private and at the convenience at the family.  The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM up until the time of service at the Herman Residence, 6450 Riverview Road, Slatington, PA.

Contributions: Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, in care of the Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.
