Marie M. Dewalt, 90, formerly of Coplay, PA passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home - Allentown, PA.
Born on May 29, 1928 in Coplay, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Gartner and the late Katherine (Etchberger) Gartner. She was the wife of the late Jacob Dewalt who passed away in 2011.
Marie was a sewing machine operator for various employers in Northampton and Coplay for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Coplay.
Surviving are daughters, Judith K. wife of Frederick Peters of Germansville, PA, Diane wife of Richard Wessner, Jr. of Saylorsburg, PA, Jeanette wife of Robert Mazziotta of S. Whitehall Twp, PA and Janet wife of Randy Wile of Souderton, PA; 6 grand children; 9 great grand children. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, St. John's Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third Street Coplay, PA 18037 with the Rev. Timothy Boyer officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall, PA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service at the Church.
