Marie "Jan" Haberern

Marie "Jan" (Kraftician) Haberern, 90, of 39th Street, Allentown, S. Whitehall Twp, died Saturday evening, May 15, 2021, at Legend of Allentown, Macungie with her daughter by her side. She was the wife and high school sweetheart of the late Ralph J. Haberern, DDS, who shared many years of happiness before his passing in 2000. Born in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Chaputa) Kraftician.

Jan was office manager for her late husband's dentistry practice for many years. She was a member of Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown. Jan was a 1949 graduate of the Whitehall High School, Hokendauqua.

She was a member of the Lehigh County Dental Auxiliary for many years and helped plan social functions. She enjoyed caring for animals and taking casino trips and gaming.

Survivors: daughter, Christina M. wife of David B. Wogenrich of Allentown. 2 grandchildren, Alyson and Kevin, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Marjorie Gannon, and brother, Robert Kraftician.

Services: 11:00AM Thursday, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 7-8:30PM Wednesday and 10-11:00AM Thursday in funeral home. Interment, Egypt Cemetery, Main Street, Whitehall Twp.
