Marie R. Hummel

Marie R. (Barnyak) Hummel , 90, of Summit Hill, formerly of Interchange Road, Franklin Township, PA, died peacefully early Monday morning, March 21, 2022, in her daughter's home. She was the wife of the late David Hummel who passed in 2014. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph S. and Pauline (Sebesta) Barnyak.

Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She attended Grace Bible Church, Long Run, Franklin Township, and enjoyed attending the Nesquehoning Senior Center.

Survivors : Daughters, Terri L. wife of Donald Rehrig of Summit Hill, Cathleen Burke of Burnt Hills, NY, Patricia wife of Douglas Boice of Panama City, FL, and Brenda wife of George Heberling of Harrington, DE. Son, Andrew and wife Kathy Bigley of PA. 8 grandchildren. Great grandchildren. Great-great-grandchildren. Sister, Madeline wife of James Yocum of Walnutport. She was predeceased by brothers, Michael, Francis, and James, and grandsons, David Boice, Christopher Boice, and Gregory Hummel and son-in-law, Michael Burke.
