Marie A. Miller

Marie A. Miller, 92 of Nazareth, PA. passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Country Meadows Assisted Living of Bethlehem. Born May 13, 1929 in Plainfield Twsp, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Werkheiser and the late Martha (Trach) Werkheiser. She was the wife of the late George J. Miller, Jr. who passed away in April 2011.

Marie was a homemaker all her life caring for her family.  She was a longtime member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nazareth, PA, where she served as a former Sunday School Teacher.  Marie, along with her husband George, enjoyed going to flea markets collecting and selling antiques which became more than just a hobby. Her greatest love was caring for her family as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She will be dearly missed and loved forever.

She is survived by her son, Barry G. Miller and companion Patricia Trampler of Bethlehem, PA, daughter, Debbie A. wife of Blake Hahn of Nazareth, PA, sister, Mrs. LaRue Christman of Allentown, PA; Six Grand- children; Christopher, Timothy, Heather, Stephen, Jonathan, and Jillian. Six Great-Grandchildren; Christopher, Jr., Beau, Kate, Lukas, Charlotte, and Abigail.  Along with two nieces and two nephews.  She was predeceased by son, Richard C. Miller in 2010.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on September 16, 2021 at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, Inc. located at 211 E. Center Street Nazareth, PA, 18064 with the Rev. Scott A. Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall, PA.
