Marie "Panny" S. Polzer

Marie "Panny" S. Polzer, 87, of Lincoln Avenue, Cementon, Whitehall Twp, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, April 22, 2018, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Stephen R. Polzer who passed in 1988.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Adolf and Anna (Kluscarits) Panny. Marie was employed as a bus driver for the Whitehall-Coplay School District for 12 years retiring in 2002. She was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Stiles, where she participated in the Rosary Society for many years. Marie, along with her twin sister, Aggie "The Panny Sisters", was a very well known polka singer with both the Walt Groller Orchestra and the Frank Hanner Orchestra for over 36 years.

Survivors: daughters, Joni P. Trump of Whitehall, Judith Polzer wife of Julian Flear of New York, Jennifer R. Polzer of Boca Raton, FL. sons, Stephen J. and wife Deborah of Greensboro, NC, Daniel R. and wife Cindy of Whitehall. 6 grandchildren, Daniel, Jacquie, Kylie, Ryan, Kristin, and Erica. 3 great grandchildren, McKenna, Maren, and Michael. sisters, Stella Lubenetski, Agnes Panny, both of Whitehall, Margaret Held of Yorktown, VA. cousin, Karoline wife of John Mikitsh. numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, and 5 brothers.

Call, 6-9:00PM Friday and 9-10:00AM Saturday, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Interment, Parish Cemetery, Ruch Street, Stiles.
