Marion L. Miller

Marion L. (Hawk) Miller, 92, of Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, N. Whitehall Twp, died peacefully Thursday morning, January 12, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Franklin H. Miller who passed in 1986. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Clinton J. and Dorothy E. (Shupp) Hawk.

Marion was employed as a seamstress by the former Iron Head Fashions Co., Ironton, for over 23 years. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Northampton, where she enjoyed volunteering as a shoo fly pie fund raising baker, Marion was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rose Croix Chapter, N. Catasauqua, and served as a secretary of the I.L.G.W.U. for several years.

Survivors: sons, Shawn F. and wife Mary Lou, Chris J. and wife Linda, all of Northampton. grandsons, William and Hunter. numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Brian R. in 2012, sisters, Margaret Williams and Helen Schwartz, brothers, Carl Hawk, Edward Hawk Sr., Kennth Williams, and Harold Williams.
