Marjorie M. Smith, 86 of Walnutport, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital
Center, Salisbury Township. Born February 10, 1932 in Egypt, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Willard and
Dorothy (Ritter) Fogelman and wife of the late Willis J. Smith.
Marjorie was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Laurys Station. She was a presser for Scotties
Fashions, Palmerton for many years before retiring in 1980.
She is survived by daughters, Linda Reinert and Marjean L. Merson, sister, Janet Bender, five grandchildren and
thirteen great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Leonard Hoppes.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service all on Friday,
September 21, 2018, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
Interment will follow in Allen Union Cemetery, Northampton.
