Marjorie E. Swales

Marjorie E. (DeWitt) Swales, 84, of Northampton, died peacefully Sunday evening, April 8, 2018, at Renaissance Home, Northampton.  She was the wife of the late George E. Swales who passed in 1995.  Born in Kingston, Luzerne County, she was a daughter of the late J. Herbert and Stella (Weidner) DeWitt.

Marjorie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Schoenersville, where she was a choir member for many years.

Survivors: Daughters, Janet E. Koch of Florida, Lois A. Swales-George wife of David George of Mertztown.  Son, David E. and wife Carolyn Swales of Nazareth.  Grandson, Daniel.  Great-granddaughter, Julia Ava Koch.  Sister, Georgiena Love, of the Carolinas.  Step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.  Nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 13, 2018, at Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.  Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, in the funeral home.  Entombment will follow services, at Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Airport Road, Allentown.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
