Martha J. Brinkman

Martha J. Brinkman, 86 of Whitehall, PA. passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital - Sacred Heart Campus in Allentown, PA. Born December 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Harry Holderman and the late Martha (Finley) Holderman. She was the wife of Charles Q. Brinkman, Sr. with whom she shared 69 years of marriage this February 23, 2021.

Martha was last employed by the former Friendly's Ice Cream, Whitehall, PA. as a waitress for 20 years before retiring in 1996. Prior to she was a machine operator for the former Cross Country Clothes- Egypt / Whitehall, PA for 20 years.

Surviving along with her husband are son, Charles Q. Brinkman, Jr. and wife Pamela of Northampton, PA, daughters, Rita A. wife of Wilson Scheirer and Susan J. wife of Stephen Sedora both of Whitehall, PA, sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Ramos of Whitehall, PA; 4 grandchildren; 7 great - grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday April 5, 2021 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067 with the Rev. Christine Cass officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown, PA. The public is reminded to continue to observe social distancing guidelines along with the wearing of facial coverings.
