Mary L. Bauer

Mary L. (Beers) Bauer , 88, of Walnut Street, Slatington, Washington Township, died peacefully early Sunday evening, September 8, 2024, in her home.  Born in Washington Township, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Raymond H., Sr. and Elizabeth I. (Frey) Beers.

Mary was employed in retail sales by Sears and Roebuck Corp., Whitehall, until retirement.  Previously, she worked for Bell Telephone, later, Lucent Technologies, Allentown, and the former Stanwood Mills Garment Co., Slatington, as a machine operator.  She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Walnutport.  Mary enjoyed her garden, growing all types of flowers over the years.

Survivors: Daughters, Deborah E. Kleckner-Kichline wife of Richard Kichline, Jr. of Palmerton, Lorrie wife of Keith Schneck of Slatington.  3 grandchildren, Danielle, Lauren, and Morgan.  2 great-grandchildren, Noah, and Alia.  Brother, Raymond Beers of Meridian, ID.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister, Florence Beers, and brothers, Sylvester, Clyde, Stanley, and Leroy.
