Mary Duyka

Mary (Babyak) Duyka, 93, of Walnutport, formerly of Columbia Avenue, Palmerton, died peacefully Tuesday morning, Sept 13, 2022, in her home. She was the wife of the late John J. Duyka who passed in 2012. Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Stephen, Sr. and Mary (Papay) Babyak.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.

Survivors: daughter, Monica M. wife of Barry DeLong with whom she resided. sons, Stephen of Palmerton. 2 grandchildren. sisters, Veronica wife of Ronald Scheffler, Margaret Babyak, all of Slatington. brother, Richard of Bath. She was predeceased by brothers, Stephen Jr., John, and Thomas.

Services: At the convenience of the family. Interment, Parish's New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton. Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.
