Mary Kochenash

Mary Kochenash, 97 of Whitehall, PA. died Thursday, June 23, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Allentown, PA. Born September 10, 1918 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Stefan and Eva (Halulko) Supp. She was the wife of the late Walter "Eddie" Kochenash who passed away in January 1993.

Mary was a homemaker all her life, who was very active in her church, running many Bingo events and was a pierogi maker for years; She was the former cook and in charge of many banquets at the Egypt Fire Hall, Whitehall, PA.; She worked a few years at the pants factory in Egypt, along with operating the family business the former "Eddie's
Luncheonette" in Egypt. She enjoyed in her spare time, sewing, gardening, and crocheting.

Surviving are daughters; Jean N. wife of Ronald Porotsky of Whitehall, PA and Mrs. Marilyn J. Noll of Lansdale, PA;
4 grandchildren; Jan wife of Scott Bartman, Jason Noll, Jill Porotsky, and Kristen wife of Michael Leuthe. 6 great -
grand children: Zachary, Tyler, Alexa Bartman, and Jack, Sean, and Gianna Leuthe. She was predeceased by a daughter, Virginia Kochenash in 1938, A sister, Anna, 2 Brothers; Andrew and Michael and a son-in-law; John Noll in 2013.

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday June 28, 2016 at St. John The Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1343 Newport Ave Northampton, PA. 18067. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM with prayers at 10:00am all at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067.

Interment will be in St. John's Catholic Church Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
