Mary (Csala) Krupa

Mary (Csala) Krupa , 95 of Northampton, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at her residence. Born November 24, 1928 in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Csala and the late Julia (Cech) Csala. She was the wife of the late Stephen Krupa who passed away on Oct. 15, 1998.

Mary was homemaker all her life caring for her family. She was employed by the Northampton Area School District as a cafeteria worker for the former Junior High School and Middle School, Northampton, PA for over thirty years before retiring. Mary was a member of St. John The Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton, PA. She enjoyed Polka music and dancing to Polkas with her husband. Mary also cherished all the time spent with her family, whom she loved deeply.

Surviving are her four sons, Stephen Krupa of Sebastian, FL, Michael Krupa and wife Jane of Northampton, PA and Thomas Krupa and wife Mary of Slatington, PA, and Ronald Krupa and wife Denise of Northampton, PA, brother, Joseph Cardarelli and wife Vibi of Hellertown, PA; 8 grandchildren; Nickole, Leticia, Michael, Brenton,Thomas, Regina, Eric, and Brooke.  7 great grandchildren; Jett, Makayla, Kendra, Emma, Andrew, Brody, and Alexandria. She was predeceased by twin Sister, Ethel Csakany, and brothers, Alex and Geza Csala.

A Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday October 25, 2024 at St. John The Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1343 Newport Avenue Northampton, PA 18067 with the Fr. Vasil Bunik officiating. The family will receive friends prior to services from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
