Mary M. Missimer

Mary M. Missimer, 83 of Whitehall, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born January 21, 1937 in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bernald Coleman and the late Mary (Gassler) Coleman.

Mary was a sales associate for the Hallmark Store in Allentown and at the Lehigh Valley Mall for many years before retiring at age 80.

Mary was a member of Queenship of Mary R.C. Church, Northampton, PA. She enjoyed Flea Markets, antique Stores, shopping, going out to eat, baking, and spending time with family. Her love of her family will never be forgotten.

Surviving are daughter, Donna M. Missimer of Whitehall, PA, sons, Don Missimer of Whitehall, PA, and companion Joann; David Missimer and Fiance' Hope of Grovetown, GA, grandson, Christopher Michael of Grovetown, GA, brother, Bernald Coleman and wife Marie of N. Catasauqua, PA, sister, Veronica wife of Jim Honsel of Northampton, PA, Aunt, Ann Reinhard and husband Sam of Plano, TX; a nephew; 2 great nephews and many cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday December 26, 2020 at Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, 1324 Newport Avenue, Northampton, PA, 18067 with the Rev. Patrick Lamb officiating. The family will receive friends from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA, 18067. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton, PA. The public is reminded to continue to follow social distancing guidelines including the wearing of facial coverings.
