Mary Ann Orsinger

Mary Ann Orsinger , 82, of Nazareth, PA, formerly of Bushkill Township, passed away January 28, 2023 at Moravian Hall Square in Nazareth, surrounded by family and her loving husband, Winston A. "Bill" Orsinger, by her side.  Mary Ann was born February 5, 1940 in Easton to the late Conrad R. and Pearl (Fritchman) Tripp.  Mary Ann was predeceased by brother Contrad B. Tripp.

After graduating from Nazareth Area High School in 1957, Mary Ann completed her Bachelors degree in Business Education from The Pennsylvania State University in 1961. She supported her first husband, John W. Kostenbader, in his restaurant business, Suncrest Farms Drive-In, while raising four wonderful children.  She worked later as an Administrative Assistant in the Chemistry Department at Lehigh University, and as a secretary in the Law Department at Bethlehem Steel.  In 1988, she worked as a secretary and as a proofreader at Lieberman Appalucci Advertising.  In 1983 she started a word processing business that included small business clients, professors, real estate agents, investigators, and authors.  She also worked at Nazareth Area High School as an English as a Second Language (ESL) tutor, and especially enjoyed that work and her students.  She was a member of Schoeneck Moravian Church where she established a library.  She loved nature and was an optimistic spirit for all who encountered her.  She was a young tennis enthusiast and grew up playing on a clay court at her home.

Survivors: She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Winston A. "Bill" Orsinger, her daughter, Susan Decker of Stuyvesant, NY, her three sons, John D. Kostenbader of Easton, Kyle J. Kostenbader of Nazareth, and Daniel T. Kostenbader of Nazareth, along with five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services: The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service, all next Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.  Interment will follow at Schoeneck Moravian Cemetery, Nazareth.  Online Condolences may be made to the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
