Mary C. Sisko

Mary C. "Marie" Sisko, 85, died peacefully Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Fred Sisko who died in 2004 and daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Farkas) Najpauer. A graduate of Northampton High School, she worked at the Egypt Pants Factory and the Steckel Elementary School cafeteria, Whitehall-Coplay School District. She volunteered as a teacher's aide at Steckel for many years. Mary was a lifelong member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Northampton. Her family was her passion, and she was so very proud of her six grandchildren. She cherished spending time with her husband, family, and friends for many years at Lakewood Family Campground, Myrtle Beach.

Survivors: daughters, Susan Sisko and partner Dwain Sheckler of Center Valley, Constance Sisko of Whitehall, Marie and husband Barry Brunst Jr. of Walnutport, Kathryn and husband Michael Solderitch of Whitehall; grandchildren Julia, Kay, Luke, Holly, Lindsay and Mason; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Lucille (wife of Paul Mikulcik of Whitehall); brothers, John (husband of Joan Najpauer of Northampton), Edward, William (husband of Dorothy Najpauer of Whitehall), Michael and Robert.

Services: A viewing will held from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton. Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. Sept. 3, BVM Catholic Church, 22 ^nd Street and Washington Avenue, Northampton. Interment will follow at Assumption BVM Cemetery, Northampton.
