Maryann L. Landis

Maryann L. (Seibert) Landis, 72, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 14, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Millard and Anna (Uhrinek) Seibert. She was the high school sweetheart and loving wife of Alan F. Landis with whom she would have celebrated 55 years of marriage in November.

She was a Paralegal for many years, working for local attorneys and retired years ago from a second career in retail.  She was a graduate of Catasauqua High School, Class of 1966.

Her greatest joy was being a mother to her two children, daughter Linda Rothrock (Larry) of Catasauqua, and son Michael Landis (Laura) of Whitehall and she was lovingly referred to as "Granny" by her four grandchildren, Emily and Joe Rothrock and Kevin and Kristine Landis.

Maryann loved her family and animals. She enjoyed gardening, trips to the casino and was an avid bowler for many years.

At Maryann's request, there will be no viewing or services. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with her care.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Peaceable Kingdom c/o the funeral home.
