Maryann T. Ruch

Maryann T. Ruch, 81 of Coplay, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at her home. Born May 26, 1936 in Coplay, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank Betz and the late Bertha (Pammer) Betz. She was the wife of the late Paul Ruch Sr. who passed away in 1991.

She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1954. She worked as a nurse for Gracedale Nursing Home for 30 years before retiring in 1998. Prior to that she worked for Cedarbrook Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Coplay and the Altar Rose Society. Her dogs were her life. She loved to care for others.

Surviving are sons, Paul L. Ruch, Jr. & wife Christine of Coplay, PA and David & wife Cynthia Ruch of Hunlock Creek, PA, daughter, Brenda wife of Thomas Hrabovsky of Bath, PA, Step-daughters, Penny and Debbie, brothers, Frank Betz & companion Nancy and Raymond & wife Sandra Betz, sisters, Patricia wife of Joseph Sommer and Margaret Yadush; grand children, Brittany, Helena, Lucy, Melissa, Adam, Joey, Julie; great grand children, Maddisyn, Greyson, Brooke, Mason, Skyler. She was predeceased by step daughter, Lori.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday March 13, 2018 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 4 South Fifth Street Coplay, PA. 18037. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Monday, March 12, 2018, and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 13, both at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Coplay, PA.
