MaryJane C. Hittner,
84, of Matthew Avenue, Palmerton, Forest Inn, Pennsylvania, died peacefully, Wednesday morning, December 6, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Luther C. Hittner who passed in 2006. Born in Egypt, Whitehall Township, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Edna (DeLong) Bernhard.
MaryJane was employed as a bookkeeper for Capital Bakers. Later, she worked as a waitress for the former Wotrings Reception Hall, Schnecksville. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Towamensing, Palmerton. MaryJane was a member of the Neffs Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary, a former Girl Scout Leader, and a member of the Kibler One Room School House Association in Beltzville.
Survivors:
Daughter, Marie wife of Larry Hahn of Palmerton, Linda wife of Arthur Fenstermaker, Jr. of Florida, Nancy wife of Robert Thompson of Lehighton, and, Bethann wife of Greg Fleming of Arizona. Son, Luke and wife Suzanne Hittner of Northampton. 8 grandchildren, Melissa, Kristin, Bryon, Robbie, Ashley, Sean, Erin, and Shane. 3 great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Alexander, and Trinity. Brother-in-law, Carl and wife Jane Hittner of Allentown. Nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, and a grandson, Corey.

11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at St. John's Church, PO Box 2915, 2915 Fireline Road, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2017 at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071, and on Tuesday morning, 10:00-11:00 a.m., in the church.
