Meagan A. Duarte

Meagan A. (Edelman) Duarte, 29, of Scarboro Lane, Northampton, Pennsylvania, died suddenly Wednesday morning, July 27, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Salisbury Township, after being stricken at home. She was the wife of Mark D. Duarte since September 25, 2011. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Dale D., Jr. and Susan E. (Mraz) Edelman of Bath.
Meagan was employed as an agent of ADP Insurance Company, Allentown. She attended Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cherryville. A 2005 graduate of Northampton High School, she attended St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, and graduated from Moravian College, Bethlehem. She enjoyed participating in fund raising programs for the Multiple Sclerosis Association.
Survivors: Husband. Parents. Sons, Grayson, and Kayden. Paternal grandparents, Dale D., Sr. and wife Marilyn (Rader) Edelman of Bath. Maternal grandfather, Rev. Jerry Mraz of Northampton. Sister, Kayla Edelman and fiancé Brett Karan of Macungie. Brother, Matthew and fiancée Jessica Horton of Bath. Aunts and uncles, Cathy wife of John Kimmel of Lithia, Florida, Karen wife of Timothy Lockard of Laury's Station, John Mraz, and Dawn wife of Bob Krasley, all of Allentown. Parents-in-law, Victor and wife Maria Duarte of Northampton. Brothers-in-law, Cristian of Bethlehem, Daniel of Walnutport.
Services: Memorial Services, 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home.
