Megan C. Leland

Megan C. Leland, 26, of Little Gap Road, Kunkletown, Lower Towamensing Twp, Carbon County, was tragically taken from us on January 24, 2019 at her home. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of Vincent B. and Ruth E. (Lamoreaux) Leland, with whom she resided.

Megan was employed as a Eastern Pennsylvania sales representative by Tarte Cosmetics, New York, NY. Previously, she was employed in the cosmetics dept of Macy's Department Store, Lehigh Valley Mall, Whitehall. A 2010 graduate of the Palmerton High School, she later graduated from Metro Beauty Academy, Allentown. Megan was a great supporter of both Breast Cancer Awareness and the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program. She was a great supporter and believer in the Anti-Bullying Prevention Campaign. Megan understood that one's beauty came from within, and always rooted and cheered for the underdog. She loved caring for friends and family, and would do just about anything to help someone. She loved her dogs, Peanut, George, Buddy, and Sugar. Megan was loved and will be greatly missed.

Survivors: Parents. Brother, Anthony V. with whom she resided. Maternal Grandmother, Nanna Joan (Pilon) Lamoreaux of Kingston, Luzerne County. Step Maternal Grandmother, Stephanie (Rush) Lamoreaux of TX. Aunts and Uncles, Frank and Julie Leland of Northampton, Bernard and Debbie Leland of Catasauqua, Susan Lamoreaux of VA, Leon Lamoreaux of TX, Dawn wife of Rodney Shaffer of Pittston, Luzerne County, Kenneth and wife Sharon Lamoreaux of Kingston. Many cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by grandfathers, Bernard S. Leland, Kenneth E. Lamoreaux, and cousin, Brooke Leland.

She was predeceased by paternal grandmother, Virginia C. (Mazzola) Leland.
