Merle J. "Junie" Geiger

Merle J. "Junie" Geiger, 89 of Bethlehem, PA. died on Monday, January 2, 2017, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA. Born April 3, 1927 in Stiles- Whitehall, PA. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Miller) Geiger. A graduate of Allentown Business School, she went on to work for the John Hancock Ins. Co., of Allentown for 38 year as the Supervising Secretary until retiring in 1984. Merle was active in her community, offering her time for many years at the Annual Music Festival of Bethlehem, and the selling of daffodils for the annual Cancer Appeal and Drive for the Lehigh Valley.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday January 5, 2017 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue Northampton, PA. 18067. There will be a calling hour from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Coplay Cemetery, Coplay, PA.
