Michael L. Damiano

Michael L. Damiano , 73, of Payallup Trail, Mt. Pocahontas, Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, PA, died peacefully early Thursday morning, September 11, 2025, in his home.  He was the husband of Diane L. (Coe) Damiano since December 28,  1985.  Born in Darby, Delaware County, he was a son of the late Roland Damiano and Rita (GianFrancesco) Stahl.

Michael was employed by Amtrek, Philadelphia, as a track inspector for over 35 years.  He was a 1970 graduate of Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School, Drexel Hill.  An avid Philadelphia professional sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Eagles and the Phillies.  Michael enjoyed living and spending time in the Poconos, especially feeding and observing the local wildlife.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughter, Georgeann Papathanasiou of Statesboro, GA.  Sons, Brian and wife Toni Weaver of Elkton, MD, and Jeffrey Weaver of Satellite Beach, FL.  9 grandchildren.  6 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a brother, Matthew Damiano.
