Michael L. Kurinec

Michael L. Kurinec, Jr., 61, of Lehigh Township, Walnutport, PA passed in the early morning hours on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem, PA. Born Sunday, March 22, 1959, he was the son of the late Michael L. Kurinec, II and the late Mildred (Smith) Kurinec. He is married to Kimberlyann E. (Schock) Kurinec and celebrated 31 years of marriage this past March.

Michael was an avid hunter and was proud of his trophy buck. He loved nature and animals, especially his dogs, Banana and Split. He was a member of Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cherryville, PA where he volunteered as a Lecturer and Usher. He worked as a Purchasing Clerk for Lehigh Valley Hospital for about 20 years.

Surviving along with his wife are daughter, Taylor P. Kurinec and fiancé Chris Harding of Northampton, PA, step-son, Jason Veron of Coaldale, PA, grandchildren, Felisha and James, sisters, Sandy Wisnewski, wife of Jay of Lehighton, PA, Jean Keeney, wife of Jack, of Macungie, PA, Jane Ann Pauker of Coaldale, PA, niece Christy Nothstein, wife of Gary of Tamaqua, PA, nephew, Thomas Welsh of Lansford, PA and many cousins.

Family and friends may call on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 3:00-5:00pm at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Social distancing practices must be followed and facial coverings must be worn. Services will be private for the family.
