Michael R. Morrone

Michael R. Morrone , 63 of Nazareth, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus in Easton, PA. Born March 21, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Nicholas Morrone and Jean (Ellinger) Morrone of Lake Ariel, PA. He was the husband of Jennie A. (Kilboy) Morrone.

Michael was a Highway Patrol Officer for the New York Police Department for over 22 years before retiring in 2001. He was a long time member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Staten Island, NY. In his spare time he enjoyed working on his cars and motorcycles.

Survivors: Surviving along with his wife and mother, are son, Michael J. Morrone and wife AmyJoy of Nazareth, PA, daughter, Kayla R. Morrone and wife Daniela of Easton, PA, brothers, Robert Morrone of Lake Ariel, PA, Charles Morrone and wife Debra of Sebring, FL and Steven Morrone of Springfield, SC. Sister, Donna O'Keefe of Myrtle Beach, SC.

Services: A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday April 18, 2023 at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, located at 211 E. Center Street Nazareth, PA 18064 with the Rev. Fr. Jonas Tandayu, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM prior to the service.
