Michael S. Taschler , 91, of Covered Bridge Road, Little Gap, Lower Towamensing Twp., died peacefully Thursday morning, November 17, 2022, at VNA Hospice House, St. Luke's, Bethlehem, PA. He was the husband of the late Lucille E. (Shook) Taschler who passed in 2014. Born in Bath, he was a son of the late Michael and Rosa (Sigura) Taschler.
Michael was employed as a custodian for the former Scotty's Fashions, Little Gap and Kresgeville. Previously, he worked as a die setter for the former Keystone Lamp Co., Slatington. He attended the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Bath.
Survivors: Daughter, Debbie L. Green wife of Salvatore Lizzo of Kunkletown. Sons, Louis and wife Candace, Michael and wife Belinda, Mark and wife Justine, all of Palmerton, Bernard of Packerton, Joseph of Moline, IL, and Peter and wife Karen of Jemison, AL. Sister, Helen Gower of Kunkletown. 19 grandchildren. 14 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Brenda Shuck in 1995, son, Stephen in 2013, sisters, Rose Miller, Anna Tomasits, Mary Milkovits, and Elizabeth Faustner, as well as brothers, Robert, and Frank.
