Michael J. Smith, Sr.

Michael J. Smith, Sr., 52, of White Street, Weissport, died Friday afternoon, July 12, 2019, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus. He was the husband of Debra B. (Graham) Smith since Oct 3, 1991. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late George D. and Anne (Johnson) Smith.

Michael was employed as a truck driver for Troxell Trucking Co., W. Bowmans. He obtained the rank of Eagle Scout, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors: wife, sons, Michael J., Jr. of Weissport, Nicholas and fiancée Natasha Mertz of Lehighton. 3 grandchildren, Makenzie, Elizabeth, and Nick Jr. sister, Dorothy wife of James Carnese of Nesquehoning. brother, William and wife Kimberly of Staten Island, NY. sister-in-law, Laura Smith of Brooklyn, NY. nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, George Smith, Jr.
