Michael Waterhouse

Michael Waterhouse , 79 of Walnutport, PA passed away on July 23, 2024, at LVH - Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. Born July 7, 1945 in Birmingham, United Kingdom, he was the son of the late Clarence Waterhouse and the late Louise (Martin)  Waterhouse. He was the husband of Bonnie (Hirschel) Waterhouse, with whom he shared 14 years of loving marriage.

After completing his GED, Mike went on to work for Mack Trucks as a materials handler. He dedicated 41.5 years of service before retiring in June of 2006. Mike was a member Local #677 Retirees. He loved to go on cruises, reguardless of where the boat was headed!

Surviving are along with his wife, daughters, Cindy Kennedy and companion Greg Bearish of Allentown, PA and Michelle Foehrkolb and husband James of Whitehall, PA sons, Michael Waterhouse of Palmerton, PA and Phillip Waterhouse and wife Christine of Breinigsville, PA, step-sons Thomas Wetzel and companion Lucy DeJesus of Bethlehem, PA, and Larry Wetzel, Jr., step-daughters Michele Shiner and husband Chester of Emerald,PA.; 12 grand children; 11 great grand children. He was predeceased by his first wife Shirley Waterhouse, and step-daughter Sherry Zellers.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 4:00PM at Schisler Funeral Home,  2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA.  Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home from 3 - 4:00PM.

Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Cancer Research, care of the funeral home.
