Mildred J. Christman

Mildred J. Christman , 85 of Northampton, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, May 3, 2024, at Fellowship Manor / Community in Whitehall, PA. Born October 1, 1938, in Whitehall - Stiles, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold Steckel and the late Carrie (Diehl) Steckel. She was the wife of Edwin R. Christman with whom she shared 58 years of marriage last May 29, 2023.

Mildred was a High School graduate whose last full-time employment was as a Supervisor for Sports Printing, Allentown, PA until retiring in 1997. She along with her husband then worked part-time for Whitehall Township Municipal Buildings in custodial services for several years. Mildred was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed being with her husband and family and sharing in all the joys that family brings.

Survivors: along with her husband are daughters, Donna L. Christman of Northampton, PA. and Sheri A. Hilt of Walnutport, PA; 3 grandchildren; Christie, Stevie, and Jonathan, and 5 great-grandchildren.

A Private Graveside Service will be held for family at the Coplay Cemetery. Coplay, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA has been entrusted with her care and services.
