Mildred G. Hoffman, 94 of Whitehall, PA. formerly of Northampton, PA. died Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Whitehall Manor in Whitehall, PA. Born March 10, 1922 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Clinton Hoffman and the late Katie (Roberts) Hoffman.
Mildred was a 1939 graduate of Northampton High School who went on to work for the former Lehigh Valley Dairy, Allentown as a secretary for 25 years. She then took a position with the former Cross Country Clothes, Northampton as an Accounts Payable Clerk for 10 years before retiring in 1987. A member of St. Paul's U.C.C. Church, member
of Northampton A.A.R.P. #3915, and former member of the Business Professional Women's Club all of Northampton; Past member of the Rose Buds Bowling League at the Rose Bowl, Allentown, PA. She was avid
Bingo Player.
Mildred is survived by 5 Nieces and 7 Nephews. She was predeceased by 3 Brothers, Willard, Sherwood, David Hoffman and 3 Sisters, Sarah Schaffer, Bessie Reed, and Leora Schell.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday September 1, 2016 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067, with the Rev. Todd Fennell officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to the services. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
