Miriam M. Borger, 91, formerly of Daubert Road, Pennsville, Lehigh Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully in Danielsville, early Wednesday morning, September 19, 2018. She was the wife of the late Ernest W. Borger, who passed in 2000. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Paul J. and Mabel I. (Frederick) Miller.
Miriam was employed as an ice cream packer for Lehigh Valley Dairy, Allentown, for 40 years, until retiring in 1985. She was a member of Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cherryville, and a 1945 graduate of the Northampton High School.
Survivors: Stepdaughter, Gail E. Fosburg of Allentown. Stepson, Terry E. and wife Carolyn Borger of Lehighton. 4 grandchildren. Great-grandchildren. Sister, Nancy wife of David Miller of Treichlers. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy Piesciensky, Bernice Snyder, Mildred Grim, and Pauline Silfies. Brothers, Warren, and Jimmy "Tank" Miller.
Services: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 9:00-10:00 a.m., Wednesday in the funeral home.
