Monica L. Klotz

Monica L. (Pagotto) Klotz , 89, formerly of Heritage Village and Timberline Road, Walnutport, Lehigh Twp., PA,  died peacefully early Thursday morning, June 12, 2025, at Sacred Heart Assisted Living, Northampton.  She was the wife of the late William A. Klotz who passed in 2000.  Born in Danielsville, Lehigh Twp., she was a daughter of the late Lewis C. and Anna C. (Franya) Pagotto.

Monica was employed as a waitress by the former Holiday Inn, Routes 309 and 22, Allentown, for over 25 years.  She and her late husband were also former owners/operators of the Edgemont Acres Drive-In and Mini Golf, Lehigh Twp., from 1985 to 2001.  She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Berlinsville, and enjoyed volunteering at the Allentown Soup Kitchen.  Monica was a 1953 graduate of the Palmerton High School.

Survivors: Daughters, Kerela J. wife of Bryan Jones of Fairport, NY, Susan E. Burits, and Vicki A. wife of Brian Beck all of Palmerton.  5 grandchildren, Laura, Elizabeth, Brett, Collin, and Maria.  2 great-grandchildren, Hailee and Corey.  Sisters, Cynthia wife of David Slaugh of Lancaster, and Wanda Markley wife of Robert Reimer of Bath.  Brother, Anthony and wife Deborah Pagotto of Walnutport.  Several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, James.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00a.m., Wednesday, June 18, 2025, St. Nicholas Church, 1152 Oak Road, Walnutport (Berlinsville), PA 18088.  Call, 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m., Wednesday in church.  Interment, Parish Cemetery, Lehigh Twp.  Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.  Online Condolences may be left to the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
