Murielle L. Andress

Murielle L. Andress, 75, of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home, on Friday, August 2, 2019.  Born July 16, 1944 in Grandfalls, New Brunswick, Canada.  She was the daughter of the late Hector Mazerolle and the late Marie (Castonguay) Mazerolle.  She was the wife of the late Floyd L. Andress, Jr. who passed away on May 3, 2013.

Murielle was a homemaker all of her life, caring for her family.  She was a very active and instrumental part of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Palmerton, PA.  She assisted with daily opening and closing of the church, and was part of the Church Choir, Counting Committee, Lead Bible Studies, and was a Eucharistic Minister.  She looked forward to the Tuesday morning Bert's Breakfast Club.  She enjoyed flowers, gardening and cooking.

Surviving: Sons, Scott R. Andress and wife Carlene of Palmerton, Chade M. Andress and wife Suzanne of Lehighton.  3 sisters, Malvina St-Amand, Gisele Lilly, Parise Martin-Mazerolle.  4 brothers David, Gilles, Gerard, and Gerald Mazerolle.  5 grandchildren, Bryce, Jagr, Seth, Nicole, and Nathan.  She was predeceased by brothers, Amede and Marjorique.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, August 9, 2019, at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in church prior to the Mass.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Church Parish's New Cemetery, Palmerton, PA.
