Myrtle M. Kosman

Myrtle M. Kosman, 79 of Schnecksville, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Twsp., Allentown, PA. Born August 27, 1942 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward Lilly and the late Esther (Chrillman) Lilly. She was the wife of Sterling R. Kosman with whom she shared 57 years of marriage last November 21, 2020.

Myrtle was a homemaker, caring mother and grandmother always attentive to her family, supporting them in everyway possible. In her earlier years, she was a Bank Teller for the former Coplay National / Merchants Bank for nine years until retiring her position. She was a member of St. John's U.C.C. Church, Laurys Station, PA, always willing and participating with many church activities.

Surviving with her husband Sterling are daughters, Judith M. wife of Leonard Machesic of Paxinos, PA, Janice M. wife of Munny Panesar of Eagleville, PA and Cynthia L. Kosman of Schnecksville, PA, sister, Jacqueline E. Lilly of Northampton, PA; 3 grandchildren; Leonard, Anya, and Ethan.

A Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday November 27, 2021 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, PA. 18059 with the Rev. Dr. James T. Gottwald officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery - Allen Twsp., Northampton, PA. Family and friend may call Friday November 26, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and Sat. 11/27/2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM both at the Church. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA., 18067 has been entrusted with her care and services.
