Nicholas A. Cataldo, 86,
of Jonas, Polk Township, Pennsylvania, died Monday evening, January 29, 2018, at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. He was the husband of Paula K. (Carchiolo) Cataldo since September 18, 1954. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Dominick and Giralima (Pino) Cataldo.
Nicholas was employed as a corporate accountant for New American Publishers, New York City, New York. An Army Veteran of Korea, he served his country honorably in the artillery, and achieved the rank of Sergeant.
Survivors: Wife, Paula. Daughters, Carol wife of Steven Berry of Jim Thorpe, Paulette Accardo of Brooklyn, New York. Grandson, Joseph. 1 Great-grandson. Sister, Teresa Cibrano of Brooklyn, New York. Nieces and nephews.
