Nicholas W. "Nick" Monn, Sr.

Nicholas W. "Nick" Monn, 71 of Pennsville, passed away on  November 6, 2023, at his home with his son and daughter by his side. Born September 19, 1952 in Plainfield, NJ, he was the son of the late Carl W. and Helen A. (Warsinski) Monn, Sr. and husband of the late Mary L. (Williamson) Monn.

He worked as a mechanic for Central Motor Pool, state of NJ. for 29 years and then for the former Network Transportation Systems in Washington, NJ before retiring.  In his free time he enjoyed working on cars, and participated in the Pro Stock Gas 4x4 Truck Pulls.

He is survived by his son, Nicholas Monn, Jr. and companion Julie Fitzsimons of Danielsville, daughter, Renee L. wife of Michael Weist of Slatington, sisters, Linda wife of Howard Thomas of Milford, NJ and Dale wife of Paul Centamore of North Carolina, grandchildren, Ty and Rebecca Weist of Slatington, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Carl W. Monn, Jr.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton PA, 18067 has been entrusted with his care
