Nicholas E. Yarosevich
, 86 of Northampton, PA. died Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center- Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA. Born October 14, 1930 in Northampton, he was the son of the late Louis Jarosewitcz and Tekla (Kozak) Jarosewitcz. He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Mall), with whom he shared 63 years of marriage this past May 29, 2017.
Nicholas was a graduate of Northampton High School who went on to work for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a Truck driver and Laborer for 44 years before retiring in 1988. A member of Queenship of Mary R.C. Church, Northampton, PA. He was a long time member, former Treasurer, and coached from entry level to Knee-hi Baseball for the (N.A.A.), Northampton Athletic Association. He was a former member of the Tuesday Night Men's Bowling League at the Northampton Leiderkrantz for many years. An avid follower of sports, especially for his grandchildren
and great-grandchildren's games.
Survivors: Surviving along with his wife Dorothy, are daughters, Susan wife of Duane Filchner of Nazareth, Sandra A. wife of Michael Stubits of N. Catasauqua, and Sheri A. wife of Stephen Kerbacher of Northampton; 7 Grand children: Duane, Nicole, Lewis, Laura, Stefani, Taylor, and Joseph. 9- Great - Grandchildren. He was predeceased by two grandsons Stephen and Scott Kerbacher.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday October 4, 2017 at Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, 1324 Newport Avenue Northampton, PA. 18067. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to Mass at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA, 18067. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Contributions: May be made in his memory to the N.A.A. or Church memorial fund both C/O the funeral home.
