Norma Jean Gallaher

Norma Jean Gallaher, 89 of Lehighton, PA. passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital - Lehighton Campus, Lehighton, PA. Born September 4, 1932 in Sharon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd F. Fitzgerald and the late Lavinia C. (Black) Fitzgerald. She was the wife of the late Walter Gallaher who passed away in 1992.

Norma was last employed as an Executive Secretary for the Kerr Glass Co, Millville, NJ for 40 years before retiring in 1990. Norma was always ready to visit Ft. Meyers, and Cape Coral, FL. with her husband Walter, she enjoyed Needlepoint and Porcelain Doll collecting, she was proud of her apple orchard and property in Lehighton and worked hard at keeping it looking pristine.

She is survived by a sister; Marjorie Farris of Boone, NC., brother, Thomas G. Fitzgerald and wife Kathleen of Great Falls, MT, a niece and a nephew. She was predeceased by brother, Donald Fitzgerald in 2006, and a very special friend Karl W. Nicke in 2020.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Future burial in Fort Meyers Memorial Garden, Fort Meyers, FL. Miller Funeral Home, Lehighton, PA has been entrusted with her care and services.
