Norman C Wisser

Norman A. Wisser, 79, of 4th Street, Palmerton, died suddenly Easter Sunday afternoon, March 27, 2016, as a result of an accident in South Whitehall Township. He was the husband of Beverly A. (Chruscz) Wisser for 51 years. Born in Virginville, Berks County, he was a son of the late Irwin A. and Carrie (Merkel) Wisser.
Norman was employed as a salesman by Highland Tire Co., Allentown, for the last 30 years. He was a 1954 graduate of the Kutztown High School, and served in the US Air Force. An avid sports enthusiast, Norman enjoyed basketball and spending time with his grandsons.
Survivors: Wife; daughter, Heidi A. wife of Brian Waylen of Slatington. Son, Jeffrey E. Chruscz of Palmerton. 2 grandsons, Jacob and Jordan. Brothers, William Wisser of Virginville; Nelson and wife Sally Wisser of Texas. Nieces and nephews.
