Paul S. Evans, Jr.

Paul S. Evans, Jr., 84, of Colony Drive, Bethlehem, E. Allen Twp, died early Monday morning, June 6, 2016, at Blough Health Care Center, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Annabelle A. (Beil) Evans who passed in 2004. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Paul S., Sr. and Evelyn E. (Seibert) Evans.
Mr. Evans was the founder of Paul S. Evans Building Contractor, LCC, Bethlehem, beginning in 1961, and retiring in 1994. An active member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kreidersville, he was on the Christian Education Committee, Vicarage Committee, Church Building Committee during development and construction in 1972. Paul served as church Sunday School Superintendent for 30 years. A 1951 graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem, he attended Penn State University Extension, Allentown. Later, he served in the US Army, Korea, earning a Bronze Service Star, and achieving rank of Sgt (T). Paul was a life member of the VFW Post #4714, Northampton. Since 1989, Paul served on the Greenwood Cemetery Board, Howertown for over 27 years, and was past president for 2 terms.
Survivors: daughter, Carla A. wife of Daniel Green of Northampton. son, Paul S., III and wife Cindy of Bethlehem. 4 grandchildren, Catherine, Paul IV, Joseph, and Steven. great granddaughter, Giavanna.

Call, 7-8:30PM Thursday; Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 and 9-10:00AM Friday in church. Interment W/ Military Honors, Greenwood Cemetery, Howertown.
