Paul H. Heere, Jr., 80, of Long Run Road, Lehighton, Franklin Township, died peacefully on Sunday morning, September 8, 2024, in his home.  He was the owner/operator of the Buckeye Tavern, Macungie, formerly the Load of Mischief, and the East Macungie Hotel.  Previously, he was master carpenter and owner of Wholesale Kitchens, Allentown.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Paul H. Sr., and Conchita (Silva) Heere.  A very spiritual man, Paul volunteered with Shelter at the Cross Ministries I Am, helping and counseling many people over the years.  He was a Guiness Book of World Records Holder for racing his homing pigeons.

An Air Force veteran of Vietnam, he attained the rank of A1C.

Survivors: Daughter, Tracy L. Adieyefeh of Trappe, Montgomery County.  Son, Christopher P. Heere, and his wife Tammie Steidinger, with whom he resided.  Grandson, Harry O.B. Adieyefeh.  Sisters, Linda, wife of George Jenkins, and Anita, wife of Carl Weber, both of Allentown.  Stepson, Kevin Kaintz, and his wife, Danielle, of Coopersburg.  Former wife, Linda (Yohe) wife of Kenneth Smith of Bethlehem.  Nieces, nephews, and his grand dog, SadieLou.
